Hi,

I'm IT manager for a software company in the SF bay area, looking for a support engineer with good Mac experience. Is there an appropriate place on this forum for job postings?

Thanks!

I don't think there is a place for it, but it could be a good idea if executed well (like the market place) perhaps something to discuss with the mods or Arn

Sorry, but we currently do not permit job postings in the forums. The forums are intended for personal discussions and so we've chosen to not allow commercial postings such as advertising and job offers.

I think it would be a good idea, since there are allot of people unemployed. Give allot of people another reason to browse the forums.

I've always been surprised that there isn't a job posting forum here, either.

It seems like this would be the perfect place for Mac-centric job seekers and employers.

Yeah, I agree, but the forum owners know their site best.

Hopefully they'll reconsider, though, especially in light of the shaky economy.
