Is there a problem with the cpu cooler ???

    cooler (fan) running. No problem. but when I do stress testing, the fan speed does not rise. see the degree in the sensors. Where could the problem be. Mac pro 2010 5.1

    As long as your CPU stay below 85C, that's normal.

    I understand..
    I'm doing a test fan cycle does not rise at all.


    I've raised xeon 5680 to 85 degrees, but no problem, but I'm worried about the human being.

    If you just want to test the fan, you can use MacsFanControl to manually increase the RPM.

    The native fan profile won't spin up the fan until the CPU reach about 80C, and only spin up a bit to keep it at about 85C.
