Is there a program similar to Microsoft Paint for mac?

Or is there a program already installed? (I have the most recent OSX release). Anybody have a suggestion for this? I just want something where I can quickly create easy images or quickly edit an image, and not have to pay for it.

I think there is a dilapidated version of Gimp for OS X, the popular linux graphics suite.

You can also download the vmac mini 68k Mac Plus emulator, boot up System 1.1 - 7.0.1, and use MacDraw 😀
