Best Buy has the Verizon version of iPad Pro 10.5 at $200, but the AT&T version is regular price.

Why? Are any retailers going to offer Black Friday discounts on all LTE models, not just Verizon?

I just jumped to the Best Buy site. I think you read it wrong. it's $200 off the regular price. That appears to be across carriers.

I mean I could get the Verizon version but I have AT&T and so I wanna keep my iPhone and iPad on the same cellular provider.

Why do you need the cellular version of the iPad Pro when you have an iPhone? Just use your iPhone as a hot spot for the iPad Pro.

No reason, but then black friday is still a week away, who knows maybe others will join them

Many legacy plans don’t allow tethering and have the hotspot feature disabled.

I can tether on mine, but the problem I ran into is that my iPad will not automatically reconnect to my iphone’s hotspot after the iPad goes to sleep (even with Auto-Join enabled), which is a huge PITA at work where I use it a few times ever hour.

Verizon is currently running $150 off iPads and $200 off an iPad with the purchase of an iPhone - this with a 2-year activation agreement. BB could be looking to beat the Verizon incentive by not having the iPhone purchase requirement.

You can just buy the Verizon iPad and use it on at&t. All cellular iPads are unlocked out of the box.

It’s $200 off at Best Buy with a 2-year Verizon contract. This is not a Black Friday deal, it’s always been this way at Best Buy. I’m guessing there’s a hefty ETF if you try to take it to another carrier.
