In the US, they are available at many Best Buys and you can order from other retailers for quick shipping. I think the current stock situation is probably not going to change anytime soon.

Yes, like I said, the current stock situation isn't likely to change anytime soon. Plus, Apple has never carried excess stock in Apple TV's at retailers even in normal times.

Eek. A box made by an advertising company. I know Apple stuff is a little more but as my dad used to say “you buy cheap, you buy twice”.
