Instead of going into iTunes or skipping through songs using an app or keyboard, is there a spotlight like search for iTunes where you would search for the song you want? If not, wouldn't it be kinda be easy to develop? Thanks.

Uh...even if you searched for a song from iTunes, you would have to open iTune to play it. So, open iTunes and search in the little white box on the upper right side.

Upper right corner, there's a 'Search' box that does just that.

I can't even tell if you're being serious or sarcastic.

And for once I agree with TS...

You have WAY too many posts here to be asking questions like that.

OK guys...I want to clear a few things up.

I was not sarcastic in that thank you post. I will fix it to not make it seem like that.

The point of this thread is the question that is in the title. I just wanted to now...sorry if I offended anyone for asking a question

    UPDATE:
@eawmp1: Are you telling me or someone else.

I don't think you offended anyone, it's just that you answered your own question in your original post. I am a little mystified as to why you just didn't try Spotlight to begin with, that's all.

The iTunes plugin for Quicksilver might be what you're after.

I did not know that Spotlight searched for that. Sorry.

There was just a sense of irony about asking for a 'spotlight'-like search, when the answer you were looking for was, well, spotlight.
