    Apple does it too, but the amount they'll credit you is typically lower than most other places.

    Wow, Best Buy would give me 150 for my iPad 2, Wifi, 16 GB.

    Actually you would get $200

    "Guaranteed minimum of $200 toward the new iPad Air 2 with trade in of iPad 2nd generation or newer"

    Technically you get $150 (or more depending on the device) + $50 coupon towards purchase of Air 2 or $25 towards Mini 3.
