Is there a "Volume Mixer" on a mac?

like there is on Windows?

I used to use it all the time. I was just playing a game online and wanted to turn the volume off in Safari as I was listening to music. I then realised I don't know how O____o does it even exist?

The only app I know of that can do this is Hear. The mixer and EQ are handy to have, but the rest of the features are completely useless. Then you have to get over the hefty hefty price tag...

Boom is not exactly a mixer, but has an equalizer that will help boost bass, volume, etc. It's only $7.

Not sure if they'll do what you want, but check into "Sunflower" or "Jack"
