iPad Is there a way to change the 2 column layout in notification center?

Anyone know if you can get rid of the 2 column layout in the notification center while in landscape orientation?

I don't like my notifications being crammed into only one side of the screen and i have no use for the today view in the other column

It nice to have this 2 column layout with my iPad mini2 but it would indeed be nice to have the option to remove the one or the other. I moved my Launcher widgets to the left (that is possible luckely). I would also like to have the option to remove or reduce the size of the current date. It's so huge!
