In my photos, all the way on the bottom, I have a "From My Mac" collection of photos I have copied from my computer to the phone. It automatically selects a photo and keeps it there. Is there a way to control which picture it shows in that icon? See the attached file. There must be a trick for me to figure out a way to make sure it only shows a photo I want. I am thinking it randomly selects one that it thinks is the oldest or some other form but the dates on the photos also do not match the actual dates.

When an album is created, the icon picture is always the first image that was added to that album. The only way (that I know of) to change it is delete the first picture from that album... then the next one in line will be shown.

As far as I know, (but maybe there's a sneaky way I'm not familiar with) the only way to"fix" an album to show a desired thumbnail icon is to create a new album from scratch and add the photo you want to show up FIRST. Then add the rest -in the correct order.

This was very useful info! I will just sync a single pic first to keep it as the thumbnail. Then I will add the collection on subsequent syncs.
