Is there a way to force the Macbook into hibernation with SD card inserted?

I use a Transcend Jetdrive lite SD card to double my hard drive space and noticed that the computer's battery only lasts up to a day or two in Standby mode now (used to be a few weeks).

I installed the Jetdrive toolbox, which unmount and remount the card when I put the computer in sleep mode, but I don't think the computer ever goes into hibernation mode.

The card is really hard to take out, so I was wondering if there was a way to force the Macbook to hibernate with the card in it?

    Thanks,

    Thanks!

What would I type to put it back to how it is now?

Also, is there anyway to make it so that it would hibernate with the SD card inserted after say an hour or 30 minutes?

According to the manual page, the default value is 3. It also has a warning:
