Is there a way to keep maps open when in use?

It seems almost every time the watch turns off its display it goes back to the home screen. This makes it difficult for me because I am usually riding my bike and taking the time to look down at my watch, take one hand off the bars, and navigate to maps is dangerous. I really wish it would just always stay open when i am using it even if the display turns off

Try using “Never Unless In Session” since you’re exercising I suppose, or “Within 1 Hour of Last Use” to force it.

I will give it a try next time im on my bike. I am not exercising I just dont have a car lol.

Unfortunately its the rainy season in japan so I wont be able to ride my bike for at least 2 weeks to test it
