Is there a way to make 2 computers the same?

Hi... I was wondering if I would be able to make my iMac identical to my MacBook? Like I guess share A computer. I just set up my old iMac and want to put the same stuff on it that my MacBook has. Is there a way to do this. Like set it up so that if I make a change on one computer it goes to the other. I'm using a time machine(idk if that helps)

I kind of dont exactly know why you want to do this, but either way, to first transfer files use target disc mode

My main reason is iTunes. I want to be able to add songs to one and it go on the other. I have like 2700 songs on my iTunes and want to put them on the other computer too.
