I logged on with my iPod Touch today at a particular web page and I discovered they now force the iPod Touch to load some B.S. "mobile" version of the page, renderding everything useless. The design is crap, and I can't access any of the controls I once had.

The whole reason I got the iPod Touch was to view web pages like I regularly would on my computer, so I could check up on stuff away from my desk.

Is there any way I can 'force' the web page to load normally, or to make it so the iPod Touch does not trigger these lame "mobile" versions?

I would greatly appreciate any help on this, as the mobile pages drive me nuts!
