Is there a way to promote an answer to a problem

I searched all over for a resolution to a dead (not functioning) Apple Pencil buried deep within a thread on the subject. If there is a way to promote a discovered answer on Macrumors, I’d love to hear about it. It would have saved me a lot of time.

I suppose the OP could edit the first post and link to what ended up working for him or her, but outside of that, there really isn't a way with this installation of xenforo. Maybe there's an option to enable it or a plugin or something that could be added.

I really appreciate your interest in making your hard-won answer discoverable for the next guy. Many times I AM that next guy, and finding (and sharing) answers and solutions on forums are still (in my opinion) one of the best uses of the internet.

The current forum software does not have a feature like you described.

Even thought this isn't really a specialist 'problem solving' site, you can find lots of nuggets of info. This would be useful, though as stated there isn't any specific feature in the existing forum software for this.
