The reason is to know how many watts of PD I need to keep this charged if I'm using this MacBook in the car. Activity Monitor does not show actual watts. Artificial "intelligence" says use sudo powermetrics --samplers smc | grep -i "combined power" but that yielded powermetrics: unrecognized sampler: smc

I'm guessing 30W is plenty but I still want to know how to tell actual consumption while using.
 
Connect the USB-C charge cable though one of these.

Also apps like AlDente show instantaneous power supplied (amongst many other useful things!)
