Is there a way to see where all the space went on your computer?

My girlfriend has a macbook with about 200 gigs of space. She has used around 180 of it. She has the basic programs that came on the computer, 20 gigs worth of pictures and 30 gigs worth of music, other than that there isnt much on her computer. Where did all of her space go?!

Is there some sort of program or utility that will map out all of her space usage?

^^ But also check to make sure she hasn't partitioned the disk.

DiskInventoryX hasn't been updated since like...10.3. The more current, faster visualization app (that's free) is GrandPerspective.

Thanks for this tip. I had always used OmniDiskSweeper which isn't ideal though it does help you reduce used space as well.
