Is there a way to tell if an iPhone is jailbroken...?

If you restore it back to factory settings?

Some say that Apple can still tell, but based on how jailbreaking is a software hack, I didn't think that you would be able to if you restored it to factory settings.

Just wanted to confirm.

no you can't the only thing you can tell after an itunes restore is if you unlocked pre 1.1.1

with the new sim unlocks you can restore and it'll mask that as well

If you do a full restore you will be ok.. If youre really curious and want to make sure there is nothing left from your jailbreak after doing a restore, SFTP your phone and check every binery folder.
