clear all open windows and get back to desktop with one button?. . .

if i start getting annoying with too many questions let me know. . .

What do you mean clear? Like on windows where you reveal your background? if so, just press F11, it does the same thing.

EDIT: Dang, too slow.

Is there a way to....

Make a thread title so utterly vague as to give no indication of what the OP needs help with?

Apparently, the answer is yes.🙄

If you do the F11 exposé it'll bring all the windows back if you bring one back. I guess you could "hide" every window by pressing ctrl+h manually until your windows are hidden. Then when you click the button in the dock it will show the window again.

How many ways
can this be done?

You can also hold Option while clicking on either your desktop or on the Finder icon in the Dock. This will hide all windows and make Finder active.

cool yes just wanted to basically minimize all windows so i can do something on my desk top. . thanks. . .those solutions u gave should work. . .
