I have T-Mobile and it’s been great but when I go to west Texas it goes to nothing. Is there a way I could buy a data plan (I know ATT works but would use anyone) and use it on my unlocked 15 pro when out there? I’ve bought esims in Europe but never seen an ATT or other carrier one available for a US phone.

Also let’s say I have zero signal could I somehow have my phone make calls through said data plan?

The best website I’m aware of for checking coverage in the US is: https://www.coveragemap.com/#coverage-search

An option could be to pick up a second eSIM and use that for data only. Then, I think if your main connection has WiFi calling enabled but has no connection at all it can use the data from the second eSIM and should allow you to make/receive calls over your main line. I haven’t personally tested this but I believe I’ve read other people doing this when traveling to Europe. Theoretically it could work in the US too.
