Hi all...
My question is in the thread title, but here it is again:
Is there an app for the Mac like Color Splash for the iPhone?

See the picture below if you don't know what I am talking about.

I know everyone is going to come back and say that it is possible to do with an app like Photoshop or Pixelmator, but I want to know if there is an easier way to accomplish this in a faster way, with a dedicated app or an app that includes this feature.

Thanks in advance,
Scott

I don’t know of an application specifically for that, but Seashore can do it without too much hassle. Just open the image with it, go to Layer>Duplicate Layer, select the bottom layer, and go to Selection>Colour Effect>Convert to Greyscale. Then select the top layer, and go to Layer>Enable Alpha Channel. Then just use the eraser tool.

Hope that helps:p

Thanks a lot for the help! I'll give it a try!
