I have been having this issue for a few weeks now, where I come on the site and try to access a particular thread, and instead of the thread opening to where I last left off I get the message that I need to log in, which is odd when I'm already logged in. I dutifully do that and get a message about "we're having some problems" and the suggestion is to go back a page and then reload the page. This time the thread and the appropriate posts come up.

The thread is one of the mega-threads in the Private Forum area and I am wondering if we've hit the maximum when it comes to number of posts in the thread. It is the "What Are You Doing Today?" thread. Or perhaps it is related to the recent update of the forum software?

Is anyone else experiencing this?

One thing I've noticed is that sometimes I CAN access it immediately but then go off to another thread and then when I return I get the error message/login message. Very strange! I've been a long-time participant on MR and as a member of that thread.

No issue for me either.

For what it's worth, I always access the forum with my mini using Brave browser and I have it set to delete all cookies with every shut down.

Anyway, I hope the issue is something that can be easily remedied. It probably is due to the recent update.

Thank you both! Yes, I've cleared my cookies and cache and that didn't make any difference. I am pretty sure that it is the recent update that is doing something weird. Funny that it should be only that one thread, though!

I'm on a 2021 MacBook Pro, using Safari as my browser. No issues with Safari, my internet connection or the machine itself.

Looks as though my problem has been resolved..... The issue hasn't occurred now for several days. Maybe it was fixed by emptying my cache and cookies, or maybe the kind admins or techs at MR did a little tweaking behind the scenes. Whatever it is, I'm happy!
