Loving my iPhone 7 so far, but it kills me that I can't activate haptic keyboard feedback. It just seems like a perfect option for this phone. Is there a reason why they just don't give it to us? I'd honestly be willing to jailbreak just for this feature. Even just the audio feedback helps, but I don't like my phone making any noise when I'm out. It is a patent issue or something?

Sorry but can OP please explain why one would need haptic f/b for the keyboard? What real life advantage does it give the user?
It improves typing. Think about having a keyboard on a laptop where the keys don't move or give any feedback. It would be really crappy. The haptic feedback helps your brain register key presses.

that would be even more annoying. if thats what you were going for the keyboard has been doing that on iOS for a long time now.

LOL. Turned that off too. I found that very annoying. Guess I like a silent, vibration free phone.
for me it's the opposite! It is on the one feature pushing me againts a SE
