Loving my iPhone 7 so far, but it kills me that I can't activate haptic keyboard feedback. It just seems like a perfect option for this phone. Is there a reason why they just don't give it to us? I'd honestly be willing to jailbreak just for this feature. Even just the audio feedback helps, but I don't like my phone making any noise when I'm out. It is a patent issue or something?

I want a way to completely disable all haptic feedback. I wish they would allow that, I see zero reason for it.

If you really want to disable all haptic feedback, disconnect the Taptic Engine from the motherboard

i don't have a 7, i have a 6s. but i didn't think anything change where haptic feed back was just on certain things. it was never on the keyboard during normal texting.

if i'm wrong let me know.

It improves typing. Think about having a keyboard on a laptop where the keys don't move or give any feedback. It would be really crappy. The haptic feedback helps your brain register key presses.

I believe to conserve battery life, and to not overuse haptic feedback

"I wish they would allow that" and they do
It took 2 seconds for me to Google Search "disable iPhone 7 Haptic feedback" to find out how to turn it off

Are you really that lazy? (Yes!)

Really? smh, some people!

Ah i can already seen it now.

"All new Haptic Keyboard" by Apple. "improve your typing with this revolutionary keyboard that knows what you type based on the vibration from the keyboard and your fingers..."

Easily acquired via jb, I've had it since 2010.

that would be even more annoying. if thats what you were going for the keyboard has been doing that on iOS for a long time now.

But unless each key has separate feedback, how does that help with typing?
