I have an iPhone 4 (32GB) on baseband 04.12.01, On monday I am starting a new deal with another carrier that does not support iPhones (Vip Macedonia), Is there any way to unlock my iPhone, and if not what should I do, I don't want to use my iPhone like an iPod Touch :mad::mad::mad:

It doesn't matter where you are from ... What carrier etc ... Once your iemi number is in Apple's server as unlocked it's unlocked. The service mentioned above or several others out there will permanently unlock your iPhone. Any sim any where any update etc.

follow this short thread from the beginning.

-OP has a phone that is locked to a non-USA carrier
-he is desiring to get it unlocked
-someone suggested Unlock_Fusion
-OP acknowledged that his phone is not from USA
-person above me said it doesn't matter
-I say it does matter -- Unlock_Fusion only unlocks AT&T iphones

what you say is true, but unrelated to the conversation at hand.

Do you have a source for that? Because I've seen people from all over the world posting to these forums saying that the ebay unlocks work.
I never said that it doesn't work. I believe in it. but he doesn't unlock just ANY phone, only AT&T iphones

//update:
okay, I step back just slightly from what I said. I just looked at his items for sale, and it looks like unlock_fusion unlocks iPhones for other carriers too, not just AT&T, but regardless, that ebay seller doesn't unlock "T-Mobile MK" or "Vip Macedonia" iPhones. my bad for thinking everything revolves around USA.

<--narrow-minded American

I think Unlock Fusion has a blurb on his site that says to contact him about other phones, and he'll either let you know if he can help, or point you in the right direction.

I went to tmobile, they told me that they can unlock my phone, but only if it is bought as a single phone without any deals... I was on deal but now its ended so im screwed..

Just use a gevey sim to unlock it if you can't do it via carrier or jb/unlock. They are not that expensive.
good intention, but misinformed. Gevey sim for iphone 4 only support basebands up to 4.10.01 (OP is on 4.12.01)

Nope you can't downgrade. If your carrier won't unlock it for you then you will just have to sell it or something and pay the difference to get an unlocked one.
