I know there is options in CCSettings to disable and enable the ringer but is there any way to disable the physical button from being able to control it?

I have a family member with an iPhone 5 and everything works except the ringer switcher is jacked and if you even slightly tap it it'll go off/on.

Settings/sounds/change with buttons. Not sure if that's what you mean but that'll keep your ringer at 1 volume then while listening to music the volume buttons will only adjust sound on headset.

I have Ringer Events for Activator. Not sure if it's strictly necessary or not to assign an Activator action, but I'm thinking you could just assign "Do Nothing" to the mute switch using Activator.

Have a look at 'SilentMode Switcher'

I wonder if I assign "Do Nothing" it'd still let me control the ringer via CCsettings?
Yeah, don't think so I'm trying to disable the physical "ringer" button completely.
This tweak right here looks like it is exactly what I'm looking for. This one disables the physical ringer button completely but you control via double tapping the lockscreen clock or taskbar. I wonder if again with this tweak it'll let me control the ringer via CCsettings does anybody know? We are trying to keep it this way as we've been controlling it this way and are comfortable. It's a paid app though kind of curious before I purchase.
