My dear father keeps messing about with my iPad settings despite me telling him not to . He’s 85 . Any way I can hide or delete it from his iPad ?

Last week he caused a lot of problems with my iCloud by tinkering with it . Tbh if there’s no way I’ll just take it off him and buy him some crappy amazon toy instead . 🤦‍♀️

I found out that in the latest iOS update you can actually delete the settings app !

The app shows up in iOS search if you need to find it in future . Great news ! 👍🏻

I wish iOS would allow for more than one user account, and of course work more like Mac OS where that account has to be and "Administrator" to make operating changes. In the meantime just buy him a used iPad and he can burn his own house/iPad down ;)

Yes, iPadOS has a long way to go to meet the power of the current m1 iPad innate capabilities
