If I'm speaking for an email after I'm done I have to tap done. Any way it recognizes I'm done like when using Siri

It's a good question, although no matter what you will have to touch the screen after dictating to send the email, so you're not exactly any less inconvenienced.

I do believe at some point Siri will be entirely buttonless; I.e. you speak a certain command to initiate Siri/dictation. The phone will of course always have to be actively listening.

I meant like if you go to notes, tap the mic, say "how are you" and just be quiet, nothing happens.

You have to tap done for "how are you" to show up.

Any way around having to Tap done

I'm sorry, I did understand the question. But I don't know the answer so I was merely conversating out of boredom.

By the way, you're looking for a "command" to hault dictation recording. Might have luck searching for an answer using the term command. I would but I'm on my phone and too lazy.
