    If you can live without copy and paste and such... you could always downgrade to 2.2.1. I downgraded and I love the extra speed and fluid graphics. Plus, no stupid Voice Memos app and extra bloat.

    Well, I'm not sure, since I haven't jailbroke my phone, but you can probably remove it if you jailbreak.

    Nope, since I haven't JBed yet. Once I get next years model I'll be JBing, so I don't know much about it yet, since I can't try anything out.

    People don't like the ability to search their phone? News to me

    How can you live with it?

    1)upgrade to 3.0
    2) don't use the search feature
    3)????
    4) you win resisting the temptation to use a feature on your phone, congratulations!

    Step 3 is always, always profit. lol

    To an above poster, I saw there was a jb package that removes the little magnifying glass, but I don't remember what it was called.

    Well that's the thing, its an option, its not required and infact I've not used the search function. It just sits there and doesn't bother me.
