Do they stay even after switching to other apps?

Yes. But in some circumstances, it did reload the form.

Another thing I observed... I like cars and one thing I hated was when I'm on a car forum and people are posting pictures of a car show, there could be 30 or 40 high resolution pictures in a thread. You can imagine what a PITA it was when you went back to that tab and all 30-40 pictures had to reload. Well, yesterday, I was on one of those types of pages. I didn't close the tab. I surfed some more, played a few games, checked email, listened to music, looked at photos, etc. The next morning, I got up, clicked on the tab and NO RELOAD! That webpage remained completely intact with all photos still loaded in memory!

SO cool.

I will say, the battery life is disappointing compared to the iPad 2, 3, mini and Air 1. It always sucks to see the battery percentage gauge drop by a couple of percent when you have not done anything but unlock the iPad and glance at the screen. All of my previous iPads would sit in standby for hours... even a whole day and drop maybe 1 or 2 percent. This one drops battery percentage when you just look at it wrong. However, I've yet to drain it dry and re-cycle the battery yet which may improve battery life. We shall see.

So the answer is no?

The answer is it depends on what you do with it. If you're surfing and watching videos, and going to Facebook, the answer is probably no.

If you're doing something more specific and intensive, playing games, editing photos, videos, etc. then the answer isn't so much that those other tablets can't do those things, but rather that they won't be as good at them.

Plus this really depends on what developers do with it.
