I've just received my Casetify Impact case after waiting for it for two weeks and I kinda hate it. It's so much bigger than it looked on their site or in review videos. Now I'm considering returning it and beginning the case hunt again.

I'm currently looking at at the Nudient V3, which looks like exactly what I want, except I've heard that the magnet is weak (a dealbreaker, needs to hold an Apple Wallet) and the volume buttons are hard to use (not a dealbreaker but I'd prefer good buttons). I also really love their colour options.

I'm also looking at the Caudabe Sheath, which looks to be a bit thicker than the Nudient but it's hard to tell. The colours leave something to be desired but at this point I'll take whatever options I can get.

Is there anything else that's similarly slim and minimalistic (ideally not carbon fibre or transformeresque), but doesn't sacrifice on the magnets or the usability? I'm not overly concerned about drop protection as I rarely drop my phone, but I'd like something more substantial than something like the Peel if possible.

Any recommendations?

I think this is the perfect case. Its very thin where it doesnt feel like the phone has any added weight/bulk at all, but its appreciably more protective than something like a peel. Also the magsafe magnets built in are really strong.

That actually looks pretty close to perfect. It’s definitely near the top of my shortlist for replacements. Thanks

I don’t know if it helps but I just got a nudient case and the magnet is very similar to my apple leather case.

Thanks. Can you comment on the button cutouts? I've seen some people complaining that it's really hard to use the volume buttons. Any issues in your experience so far?

I have no problem with it. The difference with the apple ones are that they actually have buttons, these are just cut outs. But this is a sleeker case partly for that reason (and the fact that it's a little thinner). I have no problem using the buttons though.

Awesome, thank you.

Thanks…just ordered for 13 Pro max. Will see how it works out against Apple leather case.
