Other Is there no Leather case this year for iPhone 12 Pro?

The leather case was mentioned/shown in the presentation, unless that was for the 12 and not the Pro but that would be a strange shift from the usual.
I'm sure somebody can oblige. I don't have time to go digging at the moment.

They mentioned it and showed it in the presentation, but it doesn't appear to be on the Apple Store yet. Perhaps those will show up a but later. I definitely prefer the leather cases to the silicone cases. They age so much better.
I tried to find it but now I'm starting to think the "leather" mention was the sleeve, which also doesn't appear to be on the Apple website yet.
That would be my guess, or the $59 leather credit card holder slap on pouch haha
Found it - at 37:26 he says leather while this is shown onscreen. Leather must still be coming.
Good find. Maybe the beveled edge around the camera bulge I dont recall seeing on the 11 Pro cases, coupled with the 'new' squared shape (though its been done with 5/5s , etc. but still different) created manufacturing complications for a bit?
12 Pro silicone doesn’t appear to be open bottom either. End of an era.

But that argument didn't hold much weight since the exposed bottom was a thing on touchID models too
Yeah... I was just looking for the leather case on the website. Couldn't find anything so I came here and there it is, sure enough during the iPhone 12 part. Says they are even offering them for the 12 vs only for the Pro models from previous years.
thats a smart business decision. I cant imagine many if any people would be uphold on Pro just for the leather case. That's just leaving money on the table in my view.
Those consumers probably do exist, but in irrelevant figures.

Does anyone ever like this? Most people who wont buy an Apple case state the open bottom as the reason for not buying.
I've always preferred the open bottom of Apple cases, especially with the iPhone models with no home button. It makes swiping up from the bottom just more of a pleasant tactile feel. But to each their own.
Uh, yes... covering up the speakers and lightning port with a case would be an absurd move IMO, especially when most CarPlay implementations still need a physical cable.
