Is there some kind of sleeve or case for the mini?

I am considering getting a mini to take to work and back but do not want it getting scratched. So I was wondering if there was something i could put it in to carry it safely

You could additionally add a skin, like something from Skinomi or iCarbon, those are great for resisting simple surface scratches (got an iCarbon on my MBP).

This is late, but consider seeing two pieces of felt together. I made a sleeve for my kindle this way.

This seems like something that should be crocheted using granny squares with a plastic baggy type insert, and either a crochet or macrame shoulder strap. Tassels would be optional.
It'd look a lot classier than the milk crates people used to haul their Macintoshes around in.
