I saw it in many pictures from Mail. app, the e-mail adress is often Adam@mac.com , but mac.com adress take you to the apple mac main website. So do you get some mailbox when you are buying new mac?
    Is it in iCloud?

BTW is it possible to set up Mail. only to download new mails? For example: if I configure Mail. today 9.09.2012, can I say to it: "hey, download for me only mails newer thar 9.09, don' touch old crap"

When you buy a new Mac or iOS device, you can set up an iCloud email account, which gives you a @me.com address. I heard it might be changing to @icloud.com in the near future, if it hasn't already.

If you want an @mac.com though, I think you are outta luck.
