Im sick of having to transfer files to my Windows machine and then onto a USB stick because of OSX piling .ds_store and his gang of degenerates on the drive. EVERY SINGLE PERSON that has "show hidden files" on in Windows has thought those files were a virus, I no longer bother trying to explain what they are and just use Windows.

I have it disabled for network devices but it still fills Fat32 USB drives to the brim with garbage.

No trick that I'm aware of. But you can get CleanMyDrive on the AppStore for free. It will "hold" the drive and clean it from junk when ejected.

Then just download the simple and free TinkerTool and check the box to stop that.

I use an app called Blueharvest. Works a treat for this, see link for more info.
