Is this a bug in iTunes 10?

Select Shuffle Mode. Pause your music, or make sure nothing is playing, then go to Minimize view.

Now hit FFW or REV. What appears in the track info box? Nothing, right? iTunes doesn't show you what song it has shuffled to. It only works if you are playing, not in pause.

Surely this is wrong? Sometimes you want to select song before playing it, right? This works fine on my Ipod. Everyone else have this problem?

Yeah, but now press play. The song should come up. I got that the first time I tried what you said, but now that's not happening.

Yeah it shows up fine once you press play but the thing is, I want to be able to shuffle *until* I get to a song I want, and *then* press play. And I can't do that if it doesn't show me what song it's shuffled to.

Well, it's not happening to me, so I don't know what to tell you.
