Hi all,
I noticed a few days back, that sometimes my Xr produces this really weird looking line pattern under certain lighting conditions. I first thought it could just be a noise problem, but it looks so weird and I never noticed it in any pics I took before. It's also only in the top of the photo.

Could this be a problem with the sensor? My Xr runs the latest version of iOS 13.

Thanks for the help!

What I read on apple discussions it will be a software problem. Turn off smart hdr and shoot same scene. If it will be okay you have to wait for update...

That’s a good idea. I’ll try that. Thanks!

Sadly it happens with smart HDR turned off, too. 😕

Me again. I forgot to disable the HDR toggle that appears when you disable smart HDR. I couldn’t reproduce the issue with that disabled.
that could be it then! It also seems to happen with moving objects in the picture.

Yeah in some condition it is problem with hdr/smart hdr... there is a larger thread in apple discussions, so probably apple knows about that (since XR is most selling iphone nowdays)
