Is this a fault in the MacBook Air 2020 (see photo)

I recently purchased a MacBook Air and some parts of the speaker are dark and some are light. It’s hard to explain but if you look in the picture you can see. I’m not sure if it’s meant to be like this or if it’s some kind of cosmetic fault? Can anyone with this MacBook Air check if theirs is like that with a flashlight?

Just checked, mine is the same under the torchlight of my iPhone. I didn't notice until now... Could be the difference sized speakers? I dunno...

Can you take a picture of yours by any chance? I just asked Apple support and the guy didn’t even know what it was. But it’s really bothering me lol I just want to see a picture of someone else’s so I know it’s normal

I don't really notice much variability on my gold MacBook Air. Are you sure it isn't dust, or perhaps it's easier to see on the space gray?

It's actually difficult to get the picture buddy... the flash seems to hide it... However, if you look at the tear down, you will see the speaker shape and positioning and the alignment. It lines up with your picture.

I don’t think it’s dust. It’s brand new out the box. You have to use a flashlight to see it. It could be more noticeable on the space grey
