iPad Pro Is this a genuine iPad Pro folio?

Hi all

I ordered a black iPad Pro smart folio case from Apple direct and it came and where the serial number is on the felt inside the folio case it says ‘Assembled in Thailand.

However, I also bought a brand new white folio for it from eBay which was listed as genuine, it was less than half the normal retail price, it came in the proper Apple box, the serial number on the folio matches that of the box etc it looks fully legit, the only thing I noticed was that it says ‘Assembled in China’ instead of Thailand, are some of the iPad Pro folio cases assembled in China and others in Thailand?

Just want to be sure this is a genuine case that is all as the price was very good.

I bought mine from apple.com last year. It says Assembled in China.

It probably is. Apple is doing some products in Thailand as moving its production lines off China. Source

I was wondering the exact same. Mine says assembled in Thailand as well. It also has sticker saying 6/2022
