I would hold out and get an 11 Pro refurb device or buy from a trusted seller selling one on eBay or with buyer protection. It’s genuinely worth the £150-£200 more when your already spending that amount.

Mobiles.co.uk did have refurb 11 Pro models in Black Friday deals but I think they’re sold out, however they will update stock so keep an eye on their refurb devices as they are all as good as new.

If my budget was £700 then paying £150-200 more would be out of the question. I don’t think I’d ever spend more than £700 for an iPhone anyway as there’s no need really when you can get an XS for that price. Just my opinion though.

You may as well get an iPhone 11 at that price. For £30 more (£729) you can get a 64GB iPhone 11 direct from Apple that is brand new.

Like I always say; the camera on the 11 is amazing and well worth it, especially if you’re coming from an 6. I had an SE.

He wants a reasonably sized phone. 11 is big, heavy and clunky. XS is far more manageable.

If you can afford the 11 Pro, get it. Else get the XS/X.

I picked up a "pristine" iPhone X from Music Magpie for £485. The battery percentage was at 88% so even if you threw in a new battery from apple at approx £75, you are still getting a great deal that's well within your budget

Yes. It is. Very clunky at that. I have played with the XR, it is unusable.
No, it is NOT.

Rubbish, you just don’t like larger phones and that’s your choice. The iPhone 11 is slightly bigger than an XS and smaller than my 8+. Not everybody likes big phones and I get that, but to say it’s ‘unusable’ is complete tripe.

For me it is unusable. The XS is already big enough that it is pushing it. But that’s my upper upper upper limit. A mm bigger and there is no end to it.

I didn’t honestly feel the size increase X to Xs max problematic. Think I got used to it after a week or so
