Hmm, yeah. I've just been having a look online and i can get a brand new one with 5K display for #200 more.

Most people overestimate the value of their wares. It's not worth it to negotiate unless they start at a reasonable place.

Actually, if you take account of those discover cash back, bestbuy coupons, you can easily get a top spec latest 5k iMac for less than 1900. Why bother buying a used one for the same price?

Because amazingly enough not everyone lives in the USA?

In any case, I think that price is too high, even without the USA factor.
 
I have the same Mac, but with the upgraded GPU. No, I would say it's not a good deal. Ha, if you were in the states I'd sell you mine for a bit over half that.

apple has 2013 refurbs for less than that! you can get a 2013 refurb with a better graphics card for £1250.
