I saw this ad on craigslist for a 3 month old 13 inch MacBook Pro for $1,500. I said what the heck and asked the seller if she would consider $500 cash today. She said yes, I met with her and it was in like new condition so I purchased it.

I know what you are thinking, it's stolen. Well I looked through it before I purchased it and saw all her personal info. So, I thought it would be ok. There was no box or recovery disk though. I called Apple to get the necessary disk to do a restore and they confirmed it was registered to whom I bought it from. So, I am good there and they are sending out my disk.

The info on it is below. Did I get a good deal? is it relatively easy to switch over from windows? even with business applications? I am currently using a Sony Vaio for business.

That's a pretty good deal, but if you have verified the seller information with Apple, it might be okay. The part about there being no box and restore DVDs is still not so shiny though.

Well, that makes me feel a lot better. The apple rep said it was within the first year so I could add Apple Care. I am gonna check into it.
