Is this a reasonable price?

We pay $40 a month for 1.5mpbs in South Carolina. We are with AT&T and I think we have other options? Should we switch companies or is this reasonable?

TWC offers Road Runner Turbo, which is 20-25MBPS, for 39.99/mo for the first year. Not sure what it goes to after that.

I definitely think you're getting ripped off. There's no reason to pay that much for so little. My friend used to use AT&T (before switching to TWC) and he didn't even get the speeds he paid for. After switching to Road Runner basic, which is 10MBPS, AT&T called back and tried to offer him their "highest speed ever" of 3.2 MBPS. Needless to say he's still with TWC.

That's too much for the speed you're getting.

We pay $40/month for ~10-15mbps. (I think it's 15, but we get closer to 10 real world)

Dang! I knew it. But were "stuck" in a bundle. I think the options are Comcast or AT&T. Also, this is the fastest speed offered in the area for AT&T

    Its not too bad
You know, just lagged games, 240p YouTube on retina display, VCR quality netflix, 10 minutes to download apps
You get used to getting screwed after a while ❔

Not too bad then... That is, if you prefer quantity over quality.
