Advertised my old Apple Watch on Facebook and a little old lady in Texas wants to purchase it Apple 4 Cellular £280 + £15 postage to a friend in Birmingham UK. I'm in UK

Wants to pay by Paypal.

I think it's a SCAM, what do you guys think?

Absolutely. Any time someone contacts you about purchasing as a gift and shipping to someone else you can be 99% sure they're full of it.

I'd be really leery if someone wanted me to ship to another country, but I've never been in this exact scenario before. Can you verify she's the real deal and/or the person she wants to have it sent to actually exists? Correct me if I'm wrong should be PayPal protected either way.

I think you two have misread it. It’s not to be shipped abroad. It’s to be sent to someone in the UK and the watch is already in the UK.

It’s still a scam though more than likely.

1) They claim it never arrived at their friends and PayPal refund.

2) You get a fake email from PayPal saying it’s all paid for so ship the goods.

they say it’sa little old lady as you don’t think a little old lady will scam.

Go along with it. Obviously don’t ship but I recon you will get the fake email

It was for a UK resident, but I think it's a scam, her profile friends are all African!!!

Think about it. I realize others gave you reasons, but why would somebody contact you from Texas about an Apple Watch across the world, when there’s literally thousands of used Apple watches for sale in United States that could be shipped direct to “Her” door within less than two business days from one of like three different sites for used electronics.
