Definitely wasn't a case, but finish wasn't smooth like gold. Looked like gold iPhone finish, but very well done. I haven't seen an Edition yet, so nothing to compare to.

I'm not even certain that's an AppleWatch. There's Something odd about the overall shape and the band looks far too thin and flat to be a sport band, which tend to sit up slightly.

Actually, the subway is pretty egalitarian here, particularly during the day. Almost everybody rides it, and you'll see people wearing much more expensive watches.
