is this gap normal? or it's a defect?!! on my MBP 15' PICTURES

so I wasn't paying attention to it at all and my mbp 15' been working great since i got it two weeks ago. but today I suddenly found a gap at the connection axel bar of the screen to the body of the laptop. the black bar thingy attaching the screen to the body.

you can see the gap clearly! it's on one side not the other.
here's the side that has the gap.

then here's the side that doesn't have the gap.

then when i close the screen. view from the other side of the laptop
the side with the gap

then the other side has no gap.

so is that I am being OCD as usual and it's normal to have the gap or it is a defect I need to talk to apple?!!

I am super OCD and it keeps me from doing anything else!

no seriously. that why my professors love me working in their lab. Coz im really OCD and have to get things right. Like I took about 40 pictures just to select those out to post on here.
oh wait, maybe thats more of a perfectionist. but yea, I was really bothered by that gap. now I know it's normal. I am happy and can finally go back to homework...lol
 
If you're "so OCD" then you should at the very least say "I have OCD."

Saying you are OCD would be like saying "I'm sorry, you am AIDS."

This is true. You could say:
I am OC (Obsessive Compulsive)
or
I have OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder)

I've noticed so many people are defiant, these days. They're "defiantly done", or "defiantly gonna be thur."

Defiant juveniles...
 
It is just a cover for the hinge and the airport card. It actually can slide back and forth. Besides, you want a little space there otherwise the screen would scrape against the computer body when you open and close it.

You may need to call an exterminator if you have one of these crawling around. They nest and brood like nothing else.
