********. Stop bragging/lying/trolling.

I got the exact same phone and I don't get that much battery life. I am lucky to get 8-10 hours at on moderate use. And on real heavy use not even more than 5 hours. You must have turned off wifi/bt/gps/cellular signal and looping a song for 6 hours.

Why do you do it? Whats the point of doing it? You want confirmation from others? I got the exact same phone as you and I know that its utter nonsense what you are posting. No one will ever get that.

Hey Dude,

I'd like to assure you that that is my real battery life. I saw the thread this morning and posted my photo arbitrarily. As you can see I joined this site in 2006. I really am not going to lie about something so petty, I was simply posting my experience with my iPhone 4.

I had Wi-fi and cellular signal on the entire time. I didn't use bluetooth or GPS in that time frame, only maybe when I took a photo. I leave my phone on silent without vibrate. When I'm at my desk, I can see when I receive a call or message. I definitely didn't loop a song for 6 hours. I look after my phone and take heed from apples battery suggestions.

The problem I think is new phone users abuse their battery because its so good when new and don't turn off the features they aren't using because they 'don't have to'. I have minimised my charge cycles always by keeping brightness down and keeping bluetooth off and 3g off when i have wifi etc.

I am sorry you don't get the same battery life from your phone.
Please simmer down.

Ok my bad about my language.

But I have the exact same phone as you and if I was using my screen for 6 hours straight wether its browsing, facebook or playing a game my battery would be down to 25%. For sure. Let alone have 41% left with many more hours of standby.

Yes I can get 3-4 days of battery life and I have verified this myself. But not when I am using my screen for even a single minute. I just don't believe this cause we have the same phones.

Really depends what you actually did with the phone for that time. I have an old iPhone 4 that has wifi on and airplane mode on, and it's lasted for several weeks.

These battery threads never change.

Yay, ANOTHER battery thread. There are hundreds of these already saying everything you'd like to know on the subject... which is, in a nutshell, that the usage and standby times are useless and all depend on how you're using the phone.

As mentioned, you could simply play music and get absurd times. Conversely, you could open up a GPS tracking program that requires data (ex. Waze), send it to the background, start playing Infinity Blade 2, and be lucky if you get a half hour.

It all depends on how you use the phone and there's no way for us or anyone else to know if you're getting good battery life based on just the Usage and Standby times.

Oh, this guy already said what I said. :)

I know you don't have the 4s but it actually only has 200hrs standby on the specs as opposed to our 300hrs, part of the reason i don't want it!

Perhaps I don't use it as much as you, like someone posted above regarding general use. I make 20-30 minutes of calls a day, I use whatsapp and text quite often and play the occasional game, recently I've been playing the fairly battery hungry cops smash thing.

I do assure you I play no 'games' to get a good picture! To be perfectly honest with you I've recently noticed a decline in battery life and am hoping to install a new battery!

Peace
