It does work but upon booting its ask for 2nd installation disc (Which I dont have ) . And I bought it in 2015 . It also has some cloud on screen when turned on.
so whats is the value .

What was its price when it came out and does it has any significance in Apples history . TBH I find this computer very beautiful even by today's standards

In the US, a 15" iMac G4 in that condition would be a tough sell at much above "come and get it" pricing.

These were a great and very innovative model from Apple with tilting/swiveling LCD. Most of the market interest now is in the later, faster models with 17" or preferably 20" screens.

Those must be mass produced and sold . Otherwise many of the Imac G4 from 2003 would have been a collectors item .

BTW what is the most sort after Apple computer ....?

The Apple 1 easily gets the title of most desireable/sought after Apple computer.

If you limit it to Macs, there are a handful that consistently bring high prices when they come up for sale. The TAM(20th Anniversary Mac) tends to get a lot of attention, and was made to be a premium product(admittedly with somewhat less than premium insides). Among what I'd call standard/regular production Macs that I watch, the Mac IIfx consistently brings very, very strong prices.

If you get it clean and properly running with an replacement-DVD-drive, maxed out RAM and Tiger&Classic/os9-combo it's a fine machine and you might score here 100-150€. But it all depends on the local market ...

But the most valuable thing about it is to use it yourself and have fun!
10$ for the machine and most software is practically for free!

I will defiantly use it myself . It has RAM upgraded to 512 MB . I am looking for links for the OS X , 9 and full free software for the Imac G4 .(someone PM me the links if cant share here )
