Is this installed correctly? (new mac user)

I just downloaded borderlands from the app store... when i open it it puts borderlands on my desktop with an option to eject, and opens a game data folder on my desktop... is this correctly installed or should it be moved somewhere so it runs from the hard drive?

If you used the Mac App Store application to install, then yes, your application is properly installed. The volume you see mounting with the data in it seems to be part of the installation and it has to load every time you want to play that game.
