I've also been looking at that buy.com deal. I've used kingston memory before but it was on a PC. Overal its a good brand.

I don't know much about RAM on a mac. It seems like a good fit for an iMac or macbook. Does anyone have any experience in this area? I'm curious if I should use this ram on my macbook pro (2.4GHz).

This is slighly more, http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Other World Computing/53IM2DDR4GBK/
but the website guarantees it will work with my mac.

That is the 2GB x 2 sticks, its 4GB, but a great deal. I personally ordered that set for my iMac and i've heard great reviews and OWC offers a guarantee, so...
