Not legit.
They bait you in by posting what is already known; info from back in October, with a "But wait! there's more!" link to take you to a page to buy something.
No where near legit.

Any sites advertise jailbreak for a fee probably 99.9% scam. See another thread in here where members are trying to get their hard earn money back. 🙂

It used to be free, but the owner of the site had to invest several hours into maintaining it, and he is 'charging' for his hard work, mainly for the latest models. Some things are still free there.

You sound like the owner of that site which is free there is absolutely no reason what so ever to pay someone. This is laughable.

Try following instructions from the Dev Team google group or any other website, they are very cumbersome and more confusing than helping.
Just browse over the jailbreaking/hacking/unlocking section of the forum and you will see an enormous quantity of posts of people lost about this.
iClarified is also a good reference.

No one is forcing anyone to pay.
Somethings are better when you pay them.
In the forum used to be a sticky post about jaibraking and unlocking with well detailed instructions.
What happenened to it? No one will maintain it forever for any iOS revision for free.
You are free to believe whatever you want, as well as laugh as much as you want.
I am just trying to share what has worked very well for me when I needed to obtain reliable instructions on how to perform a jailbreak and unlock.
